This is a 40 Gbps QSFP+ optical transceiver module, designed for high-speed interconnects over multimode fibre (MMF).It uses a bidirectional (BiDi) LC duplex connector, operating over just two strands of MMF rather than four or more.
Designed for enterprise data-centre or switch-to-switch uplink usage where 40 Gbps links are required and multimode fibre infrastructure is available.
