The Story
Scoop Passive PoE Injector and Splitter Kit POE-KIT
Scoop’s POE-KIT is supplied as an injector and splitter combination. It is used to supply Fast Ethernet PoE to devices which do not have native PoE support. PoE range is limited to the tolerance of the end device after the voltage drop along the PoE run. Therefore, we do not recommend installation for distances longer than 30m.
The Scoop POE-KIT is a practical tool for deploying network devices without additional wiring, making installations quicker, cleaner, and more adaptable.
- Type: Passive PoE (Power over Ethernet) injector and splitter set
- Data Transmission: Supports 10/100Mbps Ethernet devices
- Power Output: Transmits power via Ethernet (voltage based on power supply used)
- Cable Compatibility: Works with standard Cat5, Cat5e, or Cat6 Ethernet cables
- Applications: IP cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points, and other low-power network devices
- Convenience: Combines power and data over a single cable for easier installations and cleaner setups
